k so: consider a Sasuke that's still super traumatized by the Massacre but instead of it manifesting as withdrawn anger/hatred he's just withdrawn, like, he doesn't speak to anyone at all. called on in class? refuses to answer and just stares at the teacher, the only real interaction he has is probably with the various pets of his dead family, he has a Responsibility to them now; they've all been left behind like him.

this is super depressing, I know, but consider the comedic possibilities later on when he's a genin and HAS to interact with his teammates, except his only communications for the last 5-6 years have been with a bunch of animals, including, but not limited to: cats, dogs, a hawk summons that was supposed to be a messenger but failed, and some animal that really really should not be a pet (I imagine at least one Uchiha decided to be "unique" in their choice of pets). Naruto's challenges and fights may be seen as friendly-ish to Sasuke because hey, yesterday he got tackled by a dog to play-fight so this must be similar right?

anyways Sasuke is depressed and has very little concept of Proper Human Communication, Naruto also has little experience with social contact, Kakashi is a mess in general, and Sakura is basically the only one with interpersonal skills

k so in the game daemons seem to have some kind of social behaviors. like the imps and goblins being in groups and powerful daemons getting weaker daemons to come help out. anyways I want an au where the daemon blood in prompto is latent but daemons can still recognize it. and if he's alone and doesn't smell too much like other humans then he can actually interact with daemons in some capacity and all the weird shit that happens

(I read this Jurassic Park Fallen Kingdom fic where the kid has raptor dna so she and the mutant dino can actually be social a little bit. and then I got inspired for ffxv)

FFXV:

meaner than my demons, bigger than these bones: The story of Basileus Lucis Caelum, Noctis' younger brother who is kidnapped as a toddler, escapes when he's eight and lives alone in the wild until he's thirteen. Lots of feels and Cor.
the earth will be a soft cradle: Radia Incipis, bastard daughter of Regis. Her life and how canon gets fixed.
Long-Lost Prince Prompto: The long-lost Prince of Niflheim is found at last! Meet Prompto Argentum, 16yo photography enthusiast and best friend of the enemy Prince.
the runaways au: Noctis runs away when he's 16 and meets runaway MT Prompto. they bond and have adventures (of the fluffy kind and the angsty kind).
fear no darkness: Nina Sauros is Mors' bastard daughter, Titus' friend/fellow prisoner, and a spymaster. She's also an oc from Earth.
Aurion Drautos au: This boy is also an oc from earth and he's Titus' legitimate son who was separated from him when Titus was captured by Niflheim. Expect lots of feelings and a happy ending.
let's do the time warp: Everyone who was ever a party member + Luna gets sent back to when Noctis was 16. things get fixed and feels get had.
Sad Dad Cor: Cor wants to adopt toddler Prompto when he brings him back but he can't so he puts him in the system and keeps an eye on him (presumably for "making sure Niflheim didn't make him a security risk" because Cor never told Regis or anyone about Prompto). Prompto notices and remembers him and Cor turns into his shadow uncle while not knowing that Prompto knows about him. Lots of sad but also comfort and humor.

Naruto:

Feral Sasuke au: Based off my tumblr post (that I shall crosspost here) where Sasuke's isolation after the massacre has a different effect. Plus his only companionship being the pets of his dead relatives. lots of sad but it gets better?

Context for the research bit: I once spent three days grouping together an entire ship tag on ao3 by post date. I made a whole timeline with a line graph and everything. No idea where the spreadsheet is now though. Anyways you can expect a decent amount of that here.
